Recycled PVC

As advocates of environmental consciousness, GOLFimals Animals are made from Recycled PVC. 

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is a thermoplastic made from chlorine (industrial grade salt) and carbon (oil/gas ethylene). It is a very durable material and has a long life expectancy. The unique polymer structure of PVC makes it well suited for recycling as it reaches the end of its life cycle.

To begin the recycling process, PVC waste is ground into small pieces that can easily be processed into new PVC compounds. These pieces are separated, washed and treated to remove impurities before being melted down and formed into new products. 

Each GOLFimals Animal is made from injection molded recycled PVC. We chose PVC for its multiple durability characteristics. The PVC is pigmented to ensure color retention, even during extended UV light exposure.
